# Buybacks

When a big Bear Market hits, even the strongest of the tokens may suffer!

That is why 2/3 of the [taxes ](/whitepaper/tokenomics/taxes.md)on RULE transactions end up in the [Treasury](/whitepaper/ecosystem/treasury.md), to be put to use if there's a risk that the value of the token would fall below the [Presale ](/whitepaper/about/public-sale.md)price or below one of the [price milestones](/whitepaper/tokenomics/burn-events.md) (once they have been achieved).
