# Taxes

Whenever a RULE transaction is made, a tax is applied, split as follows:\
\
📉 **BUY: 3%** \
\- 1% Liquidity\
\- 2% Treasury\
\
📈 **Sell: 6%** \
\- 2% Liquidity\
\- 4% Treasury

A portion of the tax is added to the DEX liquidity pool, owned by the `0x0` address, which means it can never be taken out. while the rest is sent to the [Treasury](/whitepaper/ecosystem/treasury.md).

As the project grows in size and value, the plan is to eventually phase out this tax, which will facilitate the trading and thus the spread of the token.
